Handbell Choirs

Genesis Handbells

Intermediate handbell choir, grades 6-8. Meets Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m. Rings at the 5:00 p.m. Christmas Eve service.

Novice Handbells

Beginning handbell choir, grades 2-5. Meets Sundays at 9:00 a.m. Rings at the 4:00 p.m. Christmas Eve service.

Augsburg Handbells

High school handbell choir, grades 9-12. Meets Sundays at 5:00 p.m. Rings at the 9:30 and 11:00 p.m. Christmas Eve services. Participates in festivals, concerts, and an annual Spring tour with Martin Luther Choir.

Reformation Bells

Adult handbell choir. Meets Sundays at 7:00 p.m. Previous handbell experience not necessary, but ability to read music is helpful. Rings at the 6:30 p.m. service on Christmas Eve.

College Bells

Augsburg Bell Choir alumni. Plays one Sunday in summer, with several rehearsals prior to playing.

Ensemble Bells

Young adult handbell choir specializing in ensemble ringing. Meets Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. Experience necessary. Participates in festivals and concerts. Rings at the 8:00 p.m. service on Christmas Eve.
